Shoshin, the Japanese concept of “beginner’s mind”, speaks to the heart of my practice: meeting the familiar with fresh eyes, and remaining open to its beauty, mystery and unexpected connections. Through a spiralling process of looking, making and returning, I explore the sense that there is always more here than we might first perceive.
