A Soft Structure for Breaking III

€400.00

Over the past few years, my paintings have become a way of exploring the unseen structures we carry beneath the surface: memory, place, pressure, resilience, and care.

In this series, A Soft Structure for Breaking, houses rest above shifting underground worlds of organic forms, ladders, pathways, collaged Irish text, maps, and fragments of music. The house becomes a quiet metaphor for the self: what is held together externally while complex inner worlds move beneath.

These works consider what it means to hold space for others while also learning how to be held ourselves.
